Friday night

I'm actually amazed that I'm home.. EARLY! Well, friday is usually my non working day-sometimes, I would meet friends and have drinks/dinner etc. I did all that actually but in the afternoon, so came home to have dinner... Then I realised I had nothing to do :S hell I had work and research for a project but it's Friday and do I really wanna do it? So we came up to the room after dinner, showered and all... Then Trev had his xbox on, V wanted to watch her princess shows on the iPad and I had nothing to do :(

It sux sometimes that you are in the same room and have no tv to watch. But it's Friday and it's game night. So the wife have no say.... The thing about staying in not your own house is that you don't have spare tv or space to go to. It actually forces us to be stuck together. It's actually great family bonding.....

I got bored and made V do "button-ing" practice hahaha.


Have I mention that she showers herself, brushes her teeth and dresses herself already :) with supervision of course. Can't imagine her in the shower alone .. She will soap up the whole place hahahaha. She is off her diapers in school since 1st day of Jan, wears them only to sleep. She is 3 years old and really is into her 1st step to independence.

Okie I really have to spruce my blog up... It's getting wee messy and I better move my blog to a .com coz I realised that i hv been writing for 4 year ish .. Oops like seriously so fast Huh?!!!

Was ready beautiful .. Posted in fb and got like 80 likes!! Mostly from the girls lol, guys must be thinking it's pretty tacky hyak hyak... At 1st I tot was my
Sil's lobang, but after some probing... Trev actually thought of it and made my sil look for the in charge since my sil gets interviewed almost everytime in the new paper. So after some pulled strings and $100 later, comes a very romantic declaration. <3

Glamour Kiddies

We were in Liang Court and I stumbled onto this shop. Its just on the same floor as Royce Gym, I was very attracted by the deco and the all princess theme. Since V was in this stage, we made a visit to the stop and discovered that they had some children catwalk on. Hahahah so we thought, okie why not... just for the fun of it. I mean thats why we have a girl right? its for us to play pretty with....

Its a package of 4 lessons and it costs $20 each time. Which was not a hefty amount and the session includes hair styling, makeup, many changes of outfit (handmade), tea break hahhahah. sounds too fun to reject it.. seriously!

So we had V all dolled up, here is her with some Vroom hairdo.

 

They had some makeup - Organic and children safe makeup.

Then they got behind the curtains and had their outfits changed. Here is her peeking behind the curtains while we patiently waited for her :)

After about 2 hours, styling, changing, walking and all... the children has a nice tea break with melamine champagne flutes, awesome looking furniture... all fit for a princess. What is good is that its not a modelling agency but some place a child can just play doll up . She enjoyed it so much!! She is looking forward to more sessions, what's best is that you need not commit to weekly fun as you can opt to come when you are free, just have to inform the boss :)

Ukulele lessons

Since she is still too young to learn piano, the grandfather decided to take his ukelele and practice, hoping to entice V with learning the instrument. So the last few days, the house has been filled with music from the instrument. V is definitely keen on learning music from that toy like instrument although she keeps standing in front of the grandfather wondering why that toy can make such wonderful sounds. Just a little few more sessions and I'm sure she will be ready to pick up the ukulele to play a few notes.

Sleeping ... Not with me

Daddy made her watch some dog show and made her cry.... U know that Japanese one and the owner dies and the dog stood guard blah blah blah...

Ya it made her cry and she went to look for her grandma downstairs. I came back about 10pm, after getting daddy his supper and didnt see her. Daddy went to check and she decided to sleep with the grands coz the movie made her so upset.

Now I'm in bed (while the husband has fallen asleep!) without my daughter, we thought she wouldnt want to sleep with the grands (tried a few times) and I hear the arming of the alarm which means all is asleep. Except me of course...

My 1st night on my bed without my princess, looks like she is all grown up. I long for a night like this but it's funny... I cannot sleep :(

At 3

We went to the PD finally.... If not for the nasty rash (fungal) we may not seriously move our butt to go there. As usually we are your classic patients u do not wish to have. We took 40 mins in the clinic and was given the dagger eyes when we came out!!!!

The last visit was when she was I guess 15 -18 mths. Cannot remb , ya this long ago. Dr Tan was real pleased to see her and was like "I remb this one, had to see a specialist or something" hahaha. I updated her on her breath holding fits which stopped coz we give it to her most of the time. But did tell her, V missed the tantrum sprees that her friends are going through. She actually skipped this stage, coz 1. We give in 2. We reason 3. We home bound. Hahaha actually we plan our day according to her moods. If she wakes up all smiley , it's a packed day. If she is grumpy early, we usually cancel all plans and go home to sleep keke. Coz I have no patience if she doesn't want to eat or listen, I just drive home. Simple actually ... This is y we hardly see a melt down from her.

Princess is 92cm & 12 kg, still in her 25% percentile. Got her all the vaccines which we like missed totally!! Mmr + chicken pox and DPT... All done without any tears and yet she gave a smile after. Dr & nurse gave her much praises as they expecting some drama. We came home n I announced to everyone about how brave she was! N u can expect all the clapping, hi 5 she had!

I misplaced her health book n CDA card. It's somewhere but don't know where *sigh. I paid $307! damn bloody expensive . More so when I'm paying ! But its all worth when I know I have a healthy child :) best part today was when I was I'm the clinic she shouted " mummy mummy look behind u, there... It's buzzing above your head!" you know when was the last time I heard anyone using the word "BUZZING" ???? It's almost extinct!
