Natsuki Photography

I love love family photographs! I think most of you know it by now... :D

It has been really trying to get a good shot of the family with BB K and V not looking at the camera. If its not the children, its the husband with his crappy smile - yes he has a terrible smile! I, however am always camera ready! :D We have never had a outdoor shoot before, I'm prissy -fussy and prim, especially in a prudish way. But I do have a photo taken and printed at the Singapore Zoo at a exorbitant rate, I'm sure that's counted as an outdoor shot.

The Ng family were invited to have a photo shoot taken by Natsuki Photography. Just in time for our 7th year anniversary!

Natsuki's passion of children photography started especially after the birth of her niece. She practiced so very often with her as a subject and eventually found that she should make use of this talent and passion into something greater. (you will see what I mean by her talents) Her inspirations comes from photographers such as Kimberly Chorney, Krista Palmu and Valeria Spring. Natsuki's style is often soft and dreamy and in shades of pastels. She loves vintage and whimsical style of photography.

After visting her Website and her Facebook, I was pretty much amazed by the whimsical feel that she could portray so well through her photos. This type of photography have been around for a while but I have yet seen a local children photographer being able to portray it well.  A few emails exchange later, we decided on the vintage theme at the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Yippee! like seriously so fun right!?

Preparation:
Natsuki emailed me the kind of look to achieve and I proceeded to get the outfits for the children and the husband. We discussed further, on what props we can use to enhance the feel of the photos.

Location:
She suggested the Cluny side of Botanical Gardens, which me and Trev never knew it existed! But it really does have a more vintage feel then the "commercial part" of the gardens.

Timing:
We met at 9 am, which to me is really way too early on a sunday. Heheh...  But lo and behold, the weather kept herself real well and Miss Sun shone hard and bright! Man, we were surprised at how humid it is trying to take photos. So may I suggest evening shot or a 7am cooling morning- do a photoshoot and brunch after!

Duration:
It was done within a hour! Love the efficiency of the shoot! Children has short attention span! Oh may I add, this prissy mother too. I don't do well under the sun, my claws appear. But today, I kept them in real well!
Here are some of the photos! The rest are Here

Our Verdict?
We were so amazed by the turnout of the photos! The weather was just too hot for us and the 2 princesses were getting cranky (Prissy queen included :P). But the photos turned out just just so well!! I must add the patience of the Natuski is commendable, for she allowed a lot of free time for Victoria and Kate to warm up to the camera. Kate was slightly affected by the big lens and clicking machine. Natsuki and her assistant brought enough tools to keep the 2 of them entertained- Bubbles and all things fun.

With such great experience with an outdoor shoot, we will be adding more to our portfolio! I must say photos taken outside really does have a upper edge than a studio!
Do you like it like how we did???

Tiddler concert

I got SO excited about this performance! Like many out there, we are great fans of Julia Donaldson. I started reading to V her books when she was 2 years old. I went on a spree on bought her 15 titles. *opps overboard know. But there was 2 books that I bought when the the mummies were trending on The Gruffalo, I decided against it and bought The Squeeze and a Squash and the Monkey Puzzle.

I chose these 2 because of its values and the other for its rhyming, I found fun reading it animated!

The decision to go against The Gruffalo was mainly because, I didn't quite understand why would parents introduce a monster to a child at such young age. At 2 years old was not the time to introduce such. Although I eventually bought that title for her, she doesn't like it AT ALL. I wouldn't blame her for at 34 years old, I cannot stand the beast in The Beauty and The Beast, Like what a ugly creature! The image is daunting and doesn't make life all so merry and nice, sugar and spice. Although the book is award winning for its creative, I was sure it was not the right book for my child. Surprisingly, I went for  a parenting workshop and found a lot of parents who think the same way! Awesome!

Anyways, I found out that there was a performance and they were showing in Singapore! All our favourite books! I mean we have been reading this set for years! V can even memorise by heart! So I did the honours of going with her, for it The Squeeze and The Squash is MY all time favourite. I pick this book every time hahaha.. I don't give her a choice. In every stack of book for reading I will slide it in, just love the flow of the rhymes.

Oh my god, the concert was so enjoyable! We were laughing at the familiarity of the books. I never realise that it can be so entertaining watching children books derived performances. V knew the words and we knew what to expect and may I add how entertaining the performances were.

Best part after the concert, we kept telling each other how awesome the concert was. The father was so pleased that we enjoyed it and the money was well spent! I am sure he would if he tagged along for he has been reading to her too!

I am toying with the idea to watch again.

Should I stay at home just for the children?

O lady: Why u don't get a maid to look after the kids. Then u continue working.
Me: I like to be able to spend more time with my kids especially in their early years.
O lady: When u were working, were u earning quite a bit? $3k?
Me: Quite a bit.
O lady: Why so STUPID? You should get a maid to look after ur kids so u can go back to work. So STUPID to stop work.
Me: It's a personal choice.
O lady: Why no choice? Cannot get maid ah?
Me: I said PERSONAL choice.

I read this and it got me thinking... thinking while I was bathing, thinking while I was driving, thinking whilst I was in my meeting and eventually it became a sleepless monday night JUST BECAUSE I freaking need to write down my thoughts! The fingers were itching to type, the mind just need to offload!!

This topic is somewhat touchy and I thought about if I should blog about it. Reckon at the end it will always be an open ended question. So if it pricks you, it could be something that has been bothering you for a while now. I may just open an pandora's box - the box of that question, "Should I stay at home just for the children?"

In my line of what I do, I am surrounded with women.. somewhat will never thought to be. Just because I never have loads of girlfriends, the percentage of guys friends usually outweigh the girlies. When I was young, I couldn't stand having a lot of girlfriends.. just felt that it was too much emotions, gossips to deal with and there are constantly too much jealously. Omg, just too much. Guys however where much easier to deal with- its either a yes or a no, like or don't like. Their formula were a lot easier and way more fun. But as years go pass, after I became a mother, the infinity amongst us were just loads more fun. The bitchiness will always be there, the jealously - loads, oh then the comparison.. omg!

I have loads of empathy for mothers, its a big hat (or was the term shoes?) to fill in. SERIOUS! The juggling of duties, roles, mentor, the tolerance of naggy children, the constant laments of girly girlfriends. As of now, as I have sneaked out to write after feeding my boobs to the baby, I am stuck in the dining room with my FIL watching a documentary - DEAF. If you don't understand, he has his volume too loud.. it disturbs my blogging thoughts (as of now it a war documentary  so it has been "bang bang banaanaaag bang"). I can chose to blog in the room since I am on a laptop, but if i do so, the husband will fall asleep in front of the TV while baby sitting the baby- just because I am there. Eventually, I am stuck to the baby and no blogging is done. If you realised, my blogging has slowed down a lot. Just because I do not have a conducive environment to do so. The house is dead silence at 12am and by that time, the blogging bug would have decided to sleep.

Reasons, don't we all have reasons? I have someone working with me, who decided to resign from her job to spend time with her son and decided to chose to be in the business with me. The role of a mentor is never easy, I have been blame for the lack of their sales. Ya serious, my fault! Why? Just because they chose not to work, or gets rejected, I get scolding loads. But hell ya, I'm pretty much used to it. Back to the story... she wants to be successful, but she ends up blaming her son for her lack of success."No one can help me look after my son, no one can pick my son, my son is not eating and so I must be home to watch him eat, my husband is busy I have to stay at home to watch him." Eventually after 10 times, I stopped asking. I stopped asking for anything, then she text me to tell me she is emotionally drained that she cannot lead her team. I was like WTF? of course... I mean I didn't text her that, I just felt that way.

I am very supportive of SAHM, FTWM, PTWM.. whatever you chose, it is always the best for the family. But, the child is never your excuse. THE CHILD IS YOUR REASON. I don't understand why do parents have this mentality to "My child doesn't eat- my MIL cannot make good food" "My child is so naughty, my maid spoiled him" Ermm. serious?  (Finally.. My FIL got the hint and turned off the TV, yea quite the smart man, issn't he? I guess my typing was going vigorously that's y!)  Back to topic, argghh what was it?

Oh ya.. please mummies, get an alternative something. I don't believe in helpers, yes even though we have one now. I lived my 34 years without one! But staying with my in laws, that extra pair of hand is really important. My helper drives us insane usually, 2 days ago, I found her recooking a pot of burnt porridge, she feeds Victoria, Kate's milk, she feeds Victoria, Baby Kate medicine. Yeah I can go on, but we still thank god for her. But she is my go to person when I want to sleep 1 hour longer. That, I am thankful.

Parenting is a long road, love yourself before you get to love someone more. I come across many mummies, me guilty as charged ... who has that desire to want some ME time. Oh trust me, with 2 children, Wa the car gets so noisy. Just that day, Trev asked me why was I so quiet in the car? I said, " I cannot hear myself" With baby Kate growing louder each day, oh may I add, she found her screaming voice. *rolls eyes. I did mention before I deal with 2 loud dogs, 1 MIL and her twin sister, my SIL, the helpers and Victoria. The house is always full of chatter (LOUD), yes for me it torturously for I thrive in a ZEN environment. In order to get attention, Baby Kate decides to scream. Yes real fun... :(

Back to topic, suddenly this post doesn't have a topic. hmm...  I wasn't sure what was my focal point.  Something about having a purpose.. yes. PURPOSE, our main purpose is parenting. But during this point about parenting, I don't believe in what the old aunty words on why that mummy is stupid. Stupid in what sense? in the sense that she forgo her opportunity cost to watch her children grow up? or in the sense of lack of money? I am not sure... the trend of mummy changing their careers for the children is amazing. Just that day, I interview a mummy, has PHD in nutrition who wants to work with me. Ya, I'm not sure if my line of works suits her, but if she wants to learn about balanced priorities, she sure came to to the right person :D

Today, I dropped by my girlfriend's house to see the new baby. She was ranting for 2 hours, yes I let her rant. Anyone in confinement is the queen in my honest opinion. Her husband, despite her doing her confinement was clubbing and disappearing, just because she has a nanny at home to help her. I mean he is not fooling around, just needed some space. She nags at him and he says she is mad. But it got me and Trev wondering, priorities seemed wrong isn't it? For us, we were at home daily just watching Baby Kate growing bigger each day. That was joy, not drinking outside, but to each his own, isn't it?

She started telling me about her MIL who was not a happy person to see people more successful than her own children. I am a simple person, I don't get jealous or particularly happy when people get really successful. I will be genuine happy when a person is successful and has a great marriage with children. I envy such families. In fact, these types need supportive friends, just because they deserve it. Just 2 weeks ago, I recruited someone who works in XX company and the mid level to top level management staff cannot go home until the MD leaves the office. That is usually 730-8pm!! Imagine your life is controlled! The brand started from a small salon and eventually now a multi million dollar company... both were a couple with the same goals. Eventually, now, the wife sits in office and returns to a empty home because the husband is constantly busy. She holds management meetings dinners in her mansion, butler, chef and all... just because no one is at home. Poor thing? What say u?

Okie, I'm happy now that my mind is empty, thanks for taking your 5 mins to read.

Mary Kay Charity Lipstick

It's that time of the year..time for charity.

Every year, Mary Kay global will have this marketing initiative that calls all consultants to do their bit for charity. With every lipstick or gloss we sell, The Mary Kay Foundation will donate $1 dollar to HOPE Worldwide.

In honour of Mary Kay’s 50th anniversary, you can join Mary Kay in showing how One Woman Can™ make a difference. In Canada, from May 16th through August 15th, 2013, $1 will be donated from each sale of special-edition† Beauty That Counts® Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick in the shade One Woman Can™, to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation (MKACF) in support of its effort to assist women living with the appearance-related side effects of cancer and its treatments as well as those affected by domestic violence. This shimmery berry-pink shade looks great on any skin tone. The long-wearing, stay-true formula glides on easily with a lightweight, creamy texture for rich color impact that lasts. Plus, color won’t feather or bleed. It also includes vitamin E and a vitamin C derivative to help defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals.

For me and my Team at Style Essence, we have decided to donate $10 to Singapore Children Cancer Foundation with every lipstick sold. I paid a visit to the foundation to find out how they go about using their funds and had to write a proposal to work with them on this. My personal target is 100 lipsticks so that I can donate $1000 to them. The team has a target of $2000. I am hoping that we can use this charity lipstick for a good cause to the society and chose this CCF coz as mothers we definitely understand the plight of a suffering child.

Each lipstick/lipgloss is priced at $28 and help us by sharing this amongst your family and friends.

BB Kate stuffy nose

We had a rough night with BB Kate yesterday.

She has gotten sick once before about 2 months ago when she was teething, she had a baby cough and runny nose with fever. The same common cold we all go through. It was not anything rough, just a normal fussy baby.

But walau yesterday was Da bomb, she slept from 930 at my boob. By 1100, I carried her coz she couldn't breathe and her fever started. Ever since then, it was impossible to put her down. THE BOOB did NOT WORK. She was just cranky and very upset. I have never seen her like that. V was a tough baby on regular days, but not too bad to handle during sickness. Just loads of hugs and kisses does the trick.

We didn't sleep any longer than a 20 mins block, there will be sudden cries. 10 mins of coaxing and 20 mins of slight peace,  the cycle just went on and on. Trev took the slot until 3am, I took over and by 5am... we crashed. At 630am
, we handled over to the helper and by 8am the grands woke up to take over. It was a morning of kisses and massages for her. This is the benefit of staying together I guess, we get to pass the baton.

Baby needs medicine coz we don't wan to go through another rough night. Teething and their low immunity :( I read that each baby has to fight 200 cold viruses ... walau alot can?

Slimming 101 (session 2)

Today I will share with u my experience of LOSING 10 CM!!!! fwah me not! It's true.. I remember I was so excited that I shared on my Facebook, suddenly going to a slimming centre didn't seem so paisay. Like say what you want, I lost 10 cm *flips hair*

Slimming 101 is located in Funan Digitalife Mall. Currently it is THE ONLY outlet; so don't go searching for one near your working place or neighborhood. It is a sister company of Beijing 101, which is why the name right? But what is very interesting about this concept is that they use the help of Traditional Chinese Medicine. For my last post of this series, I will share with you my experience with the TCM practitioner who took my pulse and her advice. So stay tune!

I love the pink and teal colours

The outlet has a feminine image, with nice tag lines to accompany the branding. The decorations of the store caught my attention and they do look nice in photos.

read that: Nothing is as good as being slim!

I would write as "No more EXTRA fats"

This signage caught my attention; it was in the consultation room. This image came into my mind.

NO MORE FATS
But I do get what they were trying to market, I just want to be slim, a body with figure and yet have fats to hug around my organs. You know that type? I tried to Google but I ended with pornstar looking photos that is not suitable for a parenting blog. U get the gist :)

This, I believe is a usual equipment in most centers, it didn't look like it was any out of the ordinary. This was the one that churn out my numbers and state that I have a body of  47 years old. Oh man... *sad. The fact that I know I'm 47, I still haven't gone to walk or done a run *just plain lazy. Or maybe I should just use the same old excuse as everyone else "No time ah, so busy you know"

This is the sauna that I use before every treatment; it helps us to sweat out toxins. It a tiny little room but I had a joy of sharing with any lady one time and we had fun chit chatting about sliming treatments. She too just gave birth and has 2 kids - same problem as me, just needed something to help kick start the metabolism that somehow slowed down after the birth. She uses her lunchtime to do treatments instead of going to the gym, which both of us agree that the costings are about the same. With the same amount, one still gets to take a snooze while on the bed hahhah!!

Treatment 2:

We were brought into a room, a different one this time round. Did measurements and got to lie down on the bed. It was their in store special machine.

The machine works by electronic waves and beaks down fats while doing so. It doesn't warm up or cool down, which is so ideal for people like me.  She places few pads around the body and many odd twitches. The consultant asked me if my arms or thighs bothered me more, I said "Both" but since she asked me MORE, I chose my arms. She place 2 big pads on my arms and my arms were like jumping up and down.  It made me giggled though... seriously was bothered by it. Called the consultant to get her to lower it. Maybe if I just tolerated, I may have lost more inches, u reckon?

Anyway, I slept once again during my treatment.... :D

I guess what happens during the treatment is not important but the result. This time round I will just share with u my stats, can't hide any longer coz by the time you see me I will be svelte. *whistles

Total cm loss was 10 cm!! It is just amazing that I can achieve this by sleeping, it's pretty useful to buy this machine, say you? The thighs lost too despite the pads were not on it! The waves really do travel far....

So till date, I lost 400grams and 10 cm. But I can share this honestly is that my body seem to have gone smaller. Somehow the treatments have helped me in removing toxins and allowing better circulations. It's like it helped me jump-start my metabolism.

Slimming 101 would like to thank you for reading this post and is offering this!!

How to find the right husband.

I had a meeting that day with Mary Kay President Asia Pacific KK Chua. He said these words which I thought I will blog about it and share with everyone. As a mummy of daughters, this is that one thing I want to impart to my daughters and for those who have sons, teach him how to be that man !

5 Principles on how to find a husband.

1. The man must have a faith,  because without a faith - he has no value system. Without a value system, he is a dangerous man because he can always do the wrong things. If the whole family follows the man who is always doing the wrong thing, the family is destined for trouble.

2. This person must admire you, not only love. Love is not enough, he must treat you like a precious. He must know that if he makes a wrong decision, he will lose a very precious product which is you.

3. That he will be faithful to you and that he will not womanise. Just became he admires you, he will not go outside to do stupid things. Families gets broken up just because of extra marital affairs.

4. It doesn't matter whether he is rich or not, he must have a mentality to want to improve.

5. This man must be prepared to protect you, provide for you and take care of you.

Choosing a right partner is very important. Having your partner support you in whatever you do is very important.

Once you have selected this right person, you must learn how to take care of him. Don't let the pressure of every day life ignore that.

But I do love his advice, from a daddy of 3 girls... he shared that

1. A man always wants the woman whom he loves to love him back. But MAN don't know how to express himself well.

2. Man always want to know that a woman whom he cares for, cares for him.

3. Man always want to know the woman he works so hard for appreciates him.

Remember LOVE, CARE, APPRECIATE.

Lovely words from a man of wisdom..  Mr KK Chua

Petit Bowl

The family was invited to Petit Bowl for a food tasting session!

I have heard of them way back 4years ago when V was a lil bub, but didn't get a chance to go down to United Square to try out their foods when.  Years down, my girlfriend Sharon was introducing 1st foods to her son Declan and casually mention to me about Petit Bowl. She is on their "My First Weaning Pack" and it got me interested just because he sounds easier than me going to get a new machine - the blender which also allows steaming (Apparently its the trend now) I'm sure all of you know it. But being a shrew businesswomen, it just didn't seem logic sense to buy something worth $200 + that can be used only for 2 months or so. It didn't help that I will need to get food trays, spend the whole afternoon preparing them, freezing them etc. Then there are the veggies (organic or not) that I have to choose (not cheap btw) packets of rice, brown rice. Then when you do all the sums and the effort, it seems something I can consider trying.

I believe you must be thinking that I can always use the helper to do such, but I have a constantly confused helper when it comes to baby care. So it still boils down to me... then I am staying with the MIL that packs her fridge like we are going to war. A kitchen top that doesn't allow any more machines and I still remember that 6 months ago we were "fighting" for my that 1 compartment to put Baby Kate's bottles, steamer etc. I spent sleeping nights thinking how to better wean Kate, come on! Each mum has their woes.. The grass is always greener the other side.

The time has come to wean Baby Kate; we made a trip down to their shop in Siglap to see if it is something we should adopt. For those who aren't sure, it's almost near the famous Les Amis Peperoni pizzeria at Frankel.

For the Complimentary group food sampling, I had invited Mum bloggers Irene and Lynn who were weaning their child at about the same periods. Bernard from Petit Bowl stared the session by introducing to us the concept of their business and how they engage Ryan (the one with the glasses) a food technologist - apparently that what he studies professionally - Foods.  They share that foods that are cooked, freeze and recook immediately retains a high percentage of nutrients. I'm sure a lot of mummies like me would think that de-freezing the food should be the way- like how we were taught by our mummies. WRONG!!! We should not even allow de-freezing, as it will lower nutrients level and of course allow bacteria multiplication!

If you have a child that is still young and cannot finish the portion, it is recommended that we cut it into halves WITHOUT thawing it and pop it back into the freezer!

Ideally they shared that we should pop the foods straight into a traditional steamer - with water and wok.

or invest if you have not already, a machine that specialize in steaming foods.

If you do have a fussy child, he recommends a quick pan fry to bring out the flavours.

Now if you are thinking, OMG so much work! Yes you may pop it into a microwave as the foods are packed in food grade microwavable containers that are Made in Singapore

Now, to the true taste of a baby tongue. We got Baby Kate and Victoria to do the taste and of course the parents gets to try too! The 1st course was their butternut squash, which was a winner!! A touch down!!

Next comes the zucchini which sort of didn't go very well with the both, even for the father who frown at the taste . But it is a green veggie that taste vegetal! *duh
Seriously NOT patient!
u can see it in her puppy dog eyes what she thinks of the zucchini
Black rice that rocked!
Baby Kate was clearly upset that it was just a food tasting and was screaming for food! Josephine the owner, kindly steamed her some white rice which appease the food gourmet.

We absolutely enjoyed the food tasting session and I must say learnt a lot more from this. It helped even as a 2nd time mummies and I believe it will benefit those who are weaning the 1st time ever!

See us here on YOUTUBE!

Petit Bowl is offering $50 vouchers  (I have 2 sets ) for our readers!!!! All you have to do is post a comment with your name and email, I will get Kate to draw them in 1 week time!!  If you don't have babies, try your luck and give the vouchers to your friends as great gifts! Mummies ALL love anything that can help them make life easier! Oh Victoria eats their pasta range, yeah for those days...

*Disclaimer. We were invited for a complimentary food tasting session. I chose to write this review for Petit Bowl for their session and they gave us 3 weeks of complimentary frozen food for Baby Kate to thank us for this review. If you must know, Baby Kate loves it :)

Last 2 weeks

I have been away from the blogging world coz there are few reviews to be done and deadlines are inevitable. My work has been crazy coz I moved office and the people I work with often are too busy with one- beauty pageant two: down with dengue.  Last 2 weeks, I was at my parents coz they went to Jerusalem for 12 days and we were there for home-cation. Was really fun and we got the whole house to ourselves, packed so much things over!!

But whilst we were there, I didn't have internet as we just terminated the broadband and I relied on my hp bluetooth! Its crazy to try work with 3G... it made me frustrated as its takes 2x the time to get stuffs done. By the 10 days, we had withdrawal symptoms and just wanted to go home. V has a fight with Bam Bam, yes again. She smacked Bam on the head and had a nibble on the cheek. So she was bruised ...

But the last 2 weeks has got be flustered, its crazy as I have been misplacing things. :( Its like the "borrowers" are playing a prank on me. I misplaced:

1. Laptop charger
2. Phone charger
3. 2 pairs of pants
4. Tops

It doesn't seem much but it has caused me to drive up and down just to get them because I can't find it at the crucial moment. Im sure I am not the only on who has ever had this problem. Then when u find one, u misplace another. Yes, it happens when u have so many things to do and not have a system. But I write my lists, it's just that the things around don't function very well.

Just at this moment, I have 2 hp that doesn't seem to be able to sync with my Mac. I bought the S4 about 1 week ago and just got it opened. Then the mac doesn't read my S3, I fight with the app trying to get it backup and called the hotline, no one can help *yawns. Irritated.

As you can tell this is a rant post.. but I think maybe by ranting, things will start appearing... and suddenly everything will work. U know how it is.. everything is all about having hope. RIGHT??

I promised to get the children posts up this week. Let me clear things out of the way 1st. Pave my road to a clearer mind.

TK TrichoKare

I have hair loss problems. It got worse the minute Baby Kate turn 4 months and gua gua gua... the hair started to fall like crazy. Being a 2nd time time, I pre-empt the hair fall by getting myself an asymmetrical va va voom hairdo just about after my confinement. BUT looks like it was inevitable, all mummies go through this process and if you are wondering "Oh its not that bad" Hang on- MY HAIR IS SHORT!

Terrible ... and my hair is short >.<

I must say it doesn't look as scary as that time after my 1st birth, which I had LONG hair, that one was really miserable. But you see, hairloss runs in my family! Many a time I wonder if greying was worse or hairloss - I think BOTH. I have both *wails and bangs the table miserably.

After some research, I chose this and make a trip there to see what they can help with the after birth hair loss.

My experience:

I had a great hair consultant explaining to be the life cycle of the hair and what causes hair loss. She was so experienced; it was like I was transported into a training room. You know how some people have this ability? Yea she was one of them. It was definitely a good start and it got be excited to see what Tk TrichoKare has to offer to me.

After explaining to me what they do there, she did an analysis of my hair and I was horrified at the pictures. It was greasy *yikes, and my hair had little flakes of dry scalp - not dandruff though BUT so gross. In ethnic races, the Chinese should have 3 strands of hair in a follicle. A healthy hair scalp has 3-4 strands of hair. In my 1st photo, I have 1!!!!! That is around the top part of my head ... which by the way suppose to do the crown - which I believe how the term 'crowning glory' came about. I am "1 strand crown (-ing) glory" *feels miserable.

Greasy, and looks unhealthy, lack luster
The consultant suggests a detox session that is a wash, clay mask and treatment.

Application only at the scalp
I was brought to have hair wash and I must compliment them for bringing a towel to drape my legs..  It's so odd for me to mention this right? But I do think its very thoughtful for it always gets real chilly below when the head is douched with warm water!!  Don't you all agree with me?
My nice towel hat prevents that nasty draft on the legs
They use this SUPER menthol shampoo ... coldness!
After the wash, I got a nice head massage... at this point I would already feel my head felling really light!!

Opened my eyes just to take this photo and went back enjoying
After the head massage, they put me under a machine that emits red lights. This treatment is to simulate the scalp. Not hot not cold.. just very sci-fi.
Uv rays for better product penetration

After about an hour or more, It was all done and man!! The head felt so light I though it was going to fly away!! You know that kind of feeling.. it's called Shiok-as! If I had a computer in front of me, I may just churn out 10 post at that point. No stress, no thoughts, no worries.... just me and my hair!!

looks really clean issit it!
the hair follicle is clean and clear!
I must comment on the consultants mainly because I think they deserve my compliments. All 3 of them were really professional and spoke real well. They look really groomed and it definitely made me feel good looking at them. Needlessly may I add- they had gorgeous hair! :D

I do look forward to my 2nd session with them and see what else they can offer after such an impeccable service. Oh and my hair wash 2 days later :)
