Mary Kay Charity Lipstick

It's that time of the year..time for charity. 

Every year, Mary Kay global will have this marketing initiative that calls all consultants to do their bit for charity. With every lipstick or gloss we sell, The Mary Kay Foundation will donate $1 dollar to HOPE Worldwide.

In honour of Mary Kay’s 50th anniversary, you can join Mary Kay in showing how One Woman Can™ make a difference. In Canada, from May 16th through August 15th, 2013, $1 will be donated from each sale of special-edition† Beauty That Counts® Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick in the shade One Woman Can™, to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation (MKACF) in support of its effort to assist women living with the appearance-related side effects of cancer and its treatments as well as those affected by domestic violence. This shimmery berry-pink shade looks great on any skin tone. The long-wearing, stay-true formula glides on easily with a lightweight, creamy texture for rich color impact that lasts. Plus, color won’t feather or bleed. It also includes vitamin E and a vitamin C derivative to help defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals. 

For me and my Team at Style Essence, we have decided to donate $10 to Singapore Children Cancer Foundation with every lipstick sold. I paid a visit to the foundation to find out how they go about using their funds and had to write a proposal to work with them on this. My personal target is 100 lipsticks so that I can donate $1000 to them. The team has a target of $2000. I am hoping that we can use this charity lipstick for a good cause to the society and chose this CCF coz as mothers we definitely understand the plight of a suffering child.
