just an update

We started the no boobies for the night feeds... I meant no more constant latching aka human pacificer behaviour throughout the night.

Since 2 weeks ago, while we were at The Tays when DD T went for reservist and since I have help.. so why not.

Day 1: I kept myself awake while waiting for her to stir at her usual 2/3am, when she woke up I spoke to her and told her no boobies... of course it came with alot of arguments even though it was in the wee hours and she was supposed to be all sleepy. So I stayed up with her to watch TV and played her music from my Ipod.. Slowly but surely she fell back to sleep at 4-ish till 8 am, I was ready to latch for her morning brekkie.

She woke up at 10am and MM F slept till 1 pm :)

Day 2: Same thing... I waited for her to stir and this time played music for her but she ended up dancing on the bed *sweats* keke.. but after 30 mins or so she got all upset and started to cry ... but I didn't give in and ignored her. So after 10 mins of screams she slept. I allowed that as I feel that is NOT "cry it out" method as we were next to her while she was screaming and so still fulfilled my attachment parenting stand.

She stirred at 7am, I latched her, Grandma Tay took her away for a bath at 11pm while I slept.

Day 3: I went to town to get a music disc for her as in the mellow type. I can't deal with another day of dancing at 3 am... so this time round, I waited to about 2/3am and played the music for her... she stirred, opened her eyes looked for us, heard the music and slept till 9am!!!! when she woke up, it was becoz of hunger..

Day 4 till to date: sleeps like a baby from 9-9am.. though I realized if she sleeps after 11pm due unforeseen circumstances, eh.. she wakes up at 7am playing argghhh... I'm quite lucky as BB [V] will play by herself next to me though I gotta turn on the MTV while I continue to zzzz.

Okie I'm proud to say we succeeded after 3 days ;)

My boobs.. I fed her an alternate boob each day and had 4 days of alternate boob engorgement lol.. now its all well though the boob juice still flows, I don't leak anymore. The day will come when I will stop but I'm still comfortable with feeding her in the day. Though there was one day she was drinking and starting hitting my boobs. It was then we realized my boob don't fill her up enough coz her last meal was 12 hours ago.

Sleep: I TOTALLY LOVE IT ... coz she sleeps so well , I honestly can't ask for more, with 12 hours of beauty sleep is a a damn bloody good achievement for us as a family. There wasn't any "eh eh eh " in the middle of the night though there are times she climbs on our bed to sleep in between us. But that we are not complaining as we miss her too.

DD T: although we sorted the sleeping through, it has been DD T's duty to put her to sleep every night for she still want my boob if I'm there. No carrying or patting, just rolling on the bed with no lights no TV .. it has been working well, I'm hoping for the day I can put her to sleep.

Food: Now she only eats in the day, she eats ALOT!!!

- pre breakkie 180-210ml FM

- brekkie: cereal

- lunch : whatever I feel like cooking (big bowl)

- tea: 150/180 ml of fresh milk with a big bowl of whatever fruits/yogurt

- dinner: whatever is available (big bowl)

- b4 sleep: 180-210ml FM
