For fans of Victoria only.... for those who can't get enough of her... she was in a jolly mood yesterday and I had my hp (coz she didn't take it from me YET) I requested her to sing some songs to me.. so here goes...

Venturing
Okie I was suppose to be resting then fri there was my girlie's birthday, sat dd t's customer came and I was needed to be around to entertain; yes life of a boss's wife.... Then it's Sunday today and I was requested to help out to do makeup for performers ... So much for resting huh... Then again can't not turn away $ ..
The grands and DD T took her out for shopping (sale and all... And seriously the men in this house are the shoppers) I had to run a few errands before the event and needed lunch. Got sort of lost and stumbled on this estate "pek kio", never been here, damn old school.... Saw a long q for some prawn mee and seems cool which why I'm blogging as I'm bored :)
Stylo... Hellavu lots of write-ups ... Ieatishootipost is here, makansutra, those ch 8 ppl came... Think I should order a $5 bowl.. Keke
Like omg the broth is to DIE for!!! Noodles okie la, nothing great.. But the soup the soup is out of this world!! $5 and I had 4 freaking big prawns, sweet and succulent .... Would definitely come back! Think dry is a better option as you know how the noodles can dilute the broth. *drools

Chill
I was screaming fatigue ... Bad till my whole body was about to collapse, you know the kind that has a tingling effect when you stop to have a breather or when u are sitting there stoning. Not that I had alot of that time, classes after class, appointments after another. So this week I declare no appointments no nothing till end of the month. Just sleeping till I wake up automatically and eating well, catching up on my shows, fb games, iPhone games. No work stuffs, no emails, no makeup, no dressing up....
Yesterday I woke up at 8am to watch American Idol, tks to the hb who switched it on. So gone was my sleeping in... Picked V up at 1230, bathe her 145pm, nap 3-6pm. Wanted to watch Kungfu Panda 2 with her but she refused "sleep mummy, no show" *Sian I don't get to bring her out anymore, she insists on going to bed by 2pm everyday. If not she will be crying and getting upset about things, little things and she gets all worked up.
This time of structured routine is so not me... I like to be carefree doing my stuffs as and when. 1230-2pm is very important to me as it's always V's time, if I drive that day, I would come back to spend time with her. Chatting her about school and her day.... After when she goes her nap, I will continue my day. It's not always as somedays I have lunch appointments. But this time is strictly no handphone no laptop time, regardless how busy the day is. I don't wish to be a parent that practises the "present but absence" analogy. How we as parents are physically present but end up playing fb or msg while the child plays.
Today was alot better, I slept till 11am *woots. Picked her, played, shower, napped.... Had a late lunch, so wanted to cook dinner but no one is going to eat as we have dinner plans... So I have nothing to do till 2 hrs time where I will have to doll up. For now, its b

Botanical Gardens
So its her 1st... V was not invited to the zoo one as they only brought the older kiddos there ;( I was actually quite pleased that she didn't get to go as she will have to walk so much....
Anyway, this round the younger ones were invited to go have a picnic in Botanical Gardens... Nice.
It was on a monday and V had to be in school by 8am to have breakfast, briefing also I believe hahhaa. I slept la coz I was nursing a bad throat. By the time I woke up it was 930! Rushed to get changed and drove to the gardens to do a mummy spy :)
Aiyo so cute la they.... all sitting down on their picnic mats, eating their picnic goodies, singing.... all the small small ones together... was a nice sight.
I had to walk to the other side of their picnic site so to have a better view of her doings. Noticed my gal cannot sit down, has to stand up and walk around and the teachers have to keep reminding her to sit down. She was walking about, touching her friends hair, face.. talking to her teachers, basically being kaypo.
They played bubbles and the kiddos actually ran amok .. omg. I panicked.. so many of them running. Seriously think being a teacher is a toughie.
After about 1.5 hours of me in the hot sun, which by the way didn't help me in my bad throat! they decided to hold hands to take the bus... cute cute cute!!

* After the excursion , I received a sms from her principal
"Hi we've arrived back at centre. Just to keep you informed, Victoria experienced some motion sickness on our way to the botanical garden, she vomited some milk from breakfast on the bus and wet her clothing. we have changed her into our extra clothing on the bus. She is fine after alighting the bus. Her return journey was fine, had some whines when reaching the school, but no vomit. "
Just like me the mummy, cannot take bus, old old taxi with smells, no cruises, no boating *sigh . Daddy calls us spoilt. So much for V who grew up siting in mercs.. gotta rough her out slightly.

scratched
okie princess got scratched... a whole 3 cm of it.
there was music and they were singing some songs that requires them to hold hands...
she wanted to hold her friend's hand..

Vesak day
We brought her out to go makan and so do not like to carry her anymore :( . It has become really tiring as she wants to walk, carry, walk.... So we tried our old Beco carrier since she likes horsie so much now.
Went to bugis to eat this Nanxiang buns (can't really remb the name) walau damn nice *yummy . It's got this straw stuck in a big bun to drink the soup ooooooooooooooo . Nice nice must go. Walked to fortune centre with Beco "horsie", we placed her inside with a lot of grumbling and kicking... But once DD T started running, she got the kick. Went over to the Ngs family geomancer to pass angbao... Told her that we were going to visit Papa Jesus good friend; Uncle Buddha :) she was very happy seeing him. After that we walked the bustling street of the temples to introduce her all her papa jesus' friends - different idols from different religion. Dd T and I are very open about different religion as we believe they teach good and it's always people that changes it :(

long break
I finally can understand when DD T used to dislike holidays, trips, public holidays etc.. I however loved them, not during flying days - no difference at all., but when I wasn't working.
But now, oh my..... no no no to trips, public holidays.. it eats into my daily routine and its not fun for I end up coming back to more things to do. I was pending a Taiwan trip and was in panick mode for the things I have to complete by this week, thank goodness we compromised on the trip to be postponed. I love the high I get from my busyness, a high, kick whatever you name it. Its the adrenaline of being awake at 7 am and having appointments one after another, coming back to play with V and errands I go when she sleeps hahahah. last week I did one short trip to KL and I was packed to the brim when I return, it wasn't funny.
I actually declared myself off tomorrow and Tuesday ... then as I was doing up my weekly plan I cannot afford the off day as it eats into my other stuffs. Oh well, but I packed tml with chit chats casual stuffs which is okie. No training or mind boggling stuffs...
Would love a holiday, propose to DD T and he was grumbling at the fact that just because I'm earning and working doesn't allow a holiday - typical women he says. kekeke true la... I have a trip every month and I'm still thinking of a holiday. Think we both are jam packed for the coming months, he has his weeks packed, me too... so much for running your own business.... at least we are on the same page....
I so need a personal assistant... can't deal with paper work. I suck at it.... focus on your strengths and not your weakness.

DD T was meaning to buy her a bear from that make your bear shop... we always walk in there to browse as its has a very interesting concept. However the princess has never spotted anything she liked. So we always walked out empty handed....
But last week we walked passed and she squeal! coz they brought in Hello kitty! OH V is in her Hello Kitty stage, the many hello kitty she has, from water bottle, utensils, tshirts, towel etc. So obviously she has to have her toy. DD T was the one who was more excited with the toy then her.. oh well.

shopping
I'm in need of a shopping fix... went to town, had my medical done, yes again.. was in town 1030- 12pm. Had a nice lunch and went shopping...
Oh my I was sooooo tired after 2 hours, no more stamina *opps. Decided that enough was enough, came back and decided to shop online instead. Faster and not so much effort.
There is hype about Reebonz, all my friends are going there to shop.. loads cheaper and you don't have to deal with VAT overseas. Its reputable and the website is garnering loads of support, so I decided that oh well lets go get something.
I was surprised they have kids stuffs too! Clothes and educational stuffs , good quality ones too!! It seems that they are having loads of sale this week and I can't wait to see what they have to offer. I have eyes set for the educational stuffs, just waiting for them to release more and will get for V.
