Hong Kong (Day 2)

1st night

Cityview Hotel a great hotel, good price, good location. It was 3 mins walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR station and 8-10 mins walk from the ladies street which was basically a turn out from the hotel which means it was a bustling area. We settle in after our dinner and adventures around the hotel. So we came back at about 10-ish, gave BB [V] and nette nette a bath together. Yes,we bunked in as I had to do a last minute cancellation of my room as we were not able to turn up. We had an upgraded room and there were ample space around which was great as BB[V] and Nette had a cot to themselves... although by morning they were both on the bed.

call time 8am....

We started the day early as we have 3 babies to deal with and you never know what surprises they might give us. No morning baths as we were abit afraid of the morning chill in HKG... so we got ready and waited for Ern to come over.

We shared our load amongst 3 mummies, brought our Beco carriers and shared a stroller. But honestly, in HKG its totally pointless to bring one as there are hardly escalators in every exit, they do have but it usually the biggest exit... but you know HKG right, there are like exits A-Z... We carried the strollers most of the time up and down which was darn tiring.

Brought the mummies to my favourite Dim Sum haunt... Serenade Restaurant at HK Cultural centre. Great view, great food... a little pricey but I prefer here than the noisy Dim Sum where the old ppl hang around and talk loud. Ambience was very important as we have babies with us, we needed to eat in a clean environment. Another thing we realized in HKG is that this was the ONLY restaurant that had 3 baby chair.. *sigh* really, every where else only have ONE chair if not none. Really, I wonder where do families eat in that country? no wonder they are worse off in the reproduction sector.

Here is her actually enjoying the view of the famous habour... quite cultured right?! so smart...

Just downstairs of the restaurant.. told you the view is awesome.

So we proceeded to do our shopping in central, causeway bay after lunch. Interestingly we can't really find nice baby shops around in the island so it was shopping for the mummies more. At about after lunch time, we searched around for a restaurant again to BF the babies and rest our legs... but nothing convenient as it was business area and so we ended up in Macdonald's. Here is BB [V] in the one and only high chair.

The MTR was really convenient in terms of their locations and exit, not tough to find our ways around. At about 3-4pm-ish we were back at the hotel to give the babies a stretch as they were in their Becos the whole day. Spend 1 hour or so resting, latch the babies and continued our part 2... This time round we went to tsim sha tsui area to walk walk as the shops close later here. Went to Tang Dynasty for dinner, great food...

By the time we reached hotel, we were TOTALLY drained...

Guess who wasn't??
