Smart Kids Asia 2013

yeah we are back with this month's give-away 

SmartKids Asia is back on 15-17 March 2013!! 

Those who have been reading my blog will know that V and I went for last year's event and enjoyed ourselves so much! It is to me very different from the baby fair, motherhood fairs where we go and grab children's stuffs at a good deal, diapers on offer or to be hoarded by companies selling insurance, cordblood or post natal massage sales to remind us of how fat we still are after birth *rolls eyes

This event is really great for those whose children have past the stage of babies and toddlers stage. Like how V is ...  Ideal for mummies like me with a child and a infant who is searching for information of new companies that offer trials for the children to try out.

SmartKids Asia has  segmented their event in 3 parts Smart health, Smart Edu and Smart Family.

Smart Health:

At SmartHealth (Health), we portray a healthy nation of services and products under one roof and provide health knowledge to educate and spread health awareness to families. We believe a healthy childhood leads to a strong and happy adult life.

• Health Promotion Board “Healthier Choice” Products
• Family Health Products such as Health Supplements, Kids Vitamins, Kids daily-use products, Oral Health Products, Eye Care Products, Water Purifier & more
• Family Eating Healthy such as Organic Products, Healthy Restaurants, Health Books & Recipes, Supermarket Health Products & more
• Family Health Services such as Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Psychiatrist services
• Kids Physical Development Products & Clubs such as Sports Clubs, Kids Gymnasiums, Sports Equipment, Gymnastics, Karate, Dance & more

We went for a FREE eye check up last year and V's eyes are not exactly 6/6 due to TV and Ipad etc.*reality check This year we will be going for a review to see how it had progress or digress. There is also a chiropractor that wanted us to try out last year but we resisted. But this year, I would like to pay the booth a visit. I mean at the end if you sign up with them is still your choice. I want V to get a check, or rather the husband coz he keeps having stiff neck and this is a good excuse to get it checked!

Smart Edu:

At SmartEdu (Education), we portray purveyors of innovative, enriching education systems & resources to help shape the development of children who will later on become successful persons in life.

• Academic Development such as Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Science and more
• Schools and Learning Centre such as Childcare Centres, Infant Care, Kindergartens, Pre-Schools, Student Care Centres, Tuition Centres and more

Last year, I dropped V off at Kids gallery for her art work for $10. It was awesome and if they are there this year, I may do the same. In fact I may just drop her off at all the available drop off corners so that I can enjoy the fair better. I am in search for new places for Baby Kate to go to, just to see if there are any new trials we can enjoy together since she still getting more aware. I paid for a CHICC profiling last year which I think is pretty interesting, so want to do for K too! keke

Smart Family:

At SmartFamily (Family Relationship), we portray family services, products, venues, & clubs under one roof to help families foster strong family ties and bonds, as well as assist in shaping the personality of children to always be happy.

I remembered that my mummies forum was raving about the goodie bags. Apparently one of the best goodie bags around, I won't know coz I didn't get any last year! I like goodie bags coz vendors always give things you can't really buy, I once had a milk container from a baby talk and its still the family favourite container 5 years down.
