March Monster Mash

Just came back from Gardens By the Bay! We were kindly invited by Angie of lifestinymiracles.com to attend a Movie Screening : Where the Wild Things are at the Supertree Grove.

The girls got all excited to be attending a media event, predominately V, K decided not to nap (crap), the husband decided to, well have a night of solitude *wins hands down. So I was to fend going by myself absolutely forgetting how tiring it can be with 2 of them and that I do not have extra pair of hands for whiny, tired children especially 2 that NAGS at 10pm. We sort of got lost, you see I MUST REMEMBER to park correctly and that the 1st carpark is to the Super Grove! You would not believe we got lost getting out of the Super Grove. *note no extra hands and got to carry big yellow car and goodie bags and my handbag and small tired 2 year old and naggy 6 year old. Okie breathe and rant is over.

Man, the event was awesome! I loved it to bits. If they do run this again , please please do experience it for yourself. So from now Friday 13th March till Sunday 22 March, do pay Gardens By the Bay a Visit! The program outline is listed in their website and I have no idea how to create a stylo mylo table to key everything in.

We arrived to SuperGrove and saw familiar faces! It has been awhile since I last attended anything. So it is always nice to catch up and give hugs.

The children got busy with decorating their car, not that K helped much. I set up the pinic mat on what is very nice fake real grass. I think is real la, feels real but somehow looks not. Then in SG we are capable to do anything.

The big yellow car that sits the children real comfortably
Do be early to get a nice cosy spot

The movie started at about 8pm, it got them quiet for 20 mins then the grumbling about the sound so loud, the grass so prickly, so hungry, why so dark. Yeah, sounds familar huh. Oh and we had to go for toilet break. I managed to get a hot pizza to keep them quiet for another 30 mins then the small one repeatedly repeated to me "Go home mummy, I want to go home" for at least 50 times. I have not shared much about her the last 2 years so as not to jinx the good behavious but I have a persistent NAGGER in this one. *raises my hands up to heaven
20 mins into the movie

My attempt to keep her quiet, sleeping on the boobs helped
Definitely a great experience with such beautiful backdrop
My very lame attempt to be artistic. Monsters and all *huhuhu
