Flolookbook- New Year New makeup looks

Think this year I am going to attempt to blog some looks, I do this everyday anyway, so why don't I just blog it down!!!

So I have been noticing the trend of makeup of the young- er- est lately.  I don'y usually agree on their trends much but this time, I kinda like it a lot. So I attempted the look casually and it turned out pretty cute, don't you think?

STAINED LIPS: I do quite like the stained lips look, although some put too much concealer on the lips! eh not quite keen on eating it. (blog credit: http://lifeasart215.blogspot.sg/2013/01/review-tony-moly-lip-tint-minis.html)

UNDEREYE BLUSH : Then the other thing worth mentioning is the blusher, the cutesy way of apply it. We used to put at the apples, if not just skip it. But now, its just under the eyes! (blog credit : http://memila.blogspot.sg/2013/06/undereye-blush.html)

So I attempted it today and viola!!! I must say I do look younger!! I need to redo my eyes to attempt the kawaii look but I like my Chinese slit eyes lei and after spending so much on lasik, its pretty silly to wear the big eye contacts right? Never mind I will the look try out without and see the outcome!

Here is me doing a quick 10 mins look, I really did a quick one coz its 1st day of school! Will try a more detailed one to refine some flaws :o!!

Skin:

Start by applying a Mary Kay foundation Primer  to create a moisturised canvas, minimised pores and lasting makeup. If you have oily complexion, apply a Mary Kay Oil Mattifier.

Eyes:

Apply Mary Kay Black Pearl at the side to lengthen, and lower lash. Follow by a subtle application of Mary Kay Gold Coast to enhance lower lash and corner of eyes. Follow by Mary Kay Love Lash both top and bottom.

Cheeks
Apply blusher, I used Mary Kay Sheer Dimension Ribbon to the under eyes. Highlight undereye, nose bridge with Mary Kay Facial Highlighter

Lips
Apply Mary Kay True Dimension - Wild about Pink to lips and create the stained lips effect.

Mary Kay new Time Wise Body

For those who wants to tone the skin!!!! and best its anti aging!  am so dying to order when it releases on Nov 16...   tried it in office and the effect was wow! my arms felt tighter! The reviews have been raving around asia since its launch.. use it before exercise for maximum effect!

Plus my neck is starting to age man!! the hand cream and decollete is to firm up the neck... get one for the mothers, they will be so happy. Or those who drives, there is SPF for the arms and neck area.

Timewise Body Targeted-Action Toning Lotion $70:

While the skin on your body can show the same signs of aging as the skin on your face, it also has some very unique needs that require special attention. This advance formula contains extracts of pumpkin and argan seeds, botanicals that have shown to help stimulate proteins vital to the dermal-epidermal junction, where the uppermost two layers of the skin meet. It is also includes 2 sources of caffine, an ingredient that has been shown to help boost cell's energy levels. The formula includes Hawthorne Berry Extract which has been shown to help accelerate the breakdown of fats, it also included 6 sources of antioxidants  to give the skin a much-needed abundance of protection from environmental stressors that can leave skin looking dry, damaged and older as it is.

Timewise Body Hand and Decollete Cream Sunscreen SPF 15 $55:

Although the palms of the hands can withstand a lot of use, the skin on the back of the hands is relatively thin and fragile just like the skin around the eyes, making susceptible to early signs of aging. And don't forget about the decollete (the neck and upper bust area) that also gets a lot of exposure to the sun. This formula has acai berry which is an anti oxidant superpower, pomegranate sterols which helps to strengthen skin's barrier and also SPF!

This offer will be on magazine stands in the december issues of Her World, Female, Simply Her, Women's weekly. Its a great offer as you get a free Timewise age fighting eye cream worth $70 when you purchase this two items together... you can only get through a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant which is me!  Help me tell your friends too....

Promotion is from November 16 2010 - January 15 2011

Me and Mary Kay

remember my birthday wish last year? http://victoria-eden.blogspot.com/2009/11/happy-birthday.html

I never knew that by writing my thoughts have such have a effect in my new career. I found something that I truly love!!!

It all started as.... just to use their products as I was to go back to flying remember? Then I got so good doing it as it doesn't eat into my time with V; with fantastic time management and family support! I am on track to be Mary Kay's 1st 10th sales director.. woots woots. We have only 8 sales directors now here in Singapore and so I'm so excited about it!

I realized and was very clear to me that I wouldn't be happy with a 9-5 job, for the enthusiasm in me is very contagious and dealing with it behind a desk is very not me. My strengths is that I am a very people person and can chat with anyone anytime and absolutely love love love fun! Though I don't exactly have the sales blood in me *opps something I'm learning hard, but I have man managements skills that my previous company has so instill in me. Doesn't help that I love to look beautiful so its like the best job for me!!! The best part is that I have ever wanted to start my own business but my degree is just a piece of paper with zero experience and got to know that once I become a sales director, I get to register my own company, so fantastic! Can't wait to see what is in stored in years to come!

DD T is way excited about my new career and is very supportive of it, helping me look after when ever I conduct my classes especially at night. Its great as I work 1-3 times a week, not always is a full day, coz I still come back to put her to sleep etc. I guess the reason why I am so successful is that I decided to put my goal on my child, wanting to put her in a international school and so want her to do her summer break in China. We want to give her a overseas education as we are very cultural aware parents (guess gotta do with our past) . I'm sure with the education system changing every year, things will be a lot different in 5 years and we will be ready when it happens. We have a dream , if education system works for us in 5 years, we want to be able to buy a house near it!

A big thanks to DD T and FIL who sat down and went through the Mary Kay business model, telling me its a fantastic company to work in and that I have nothing to lose if it doesn't work out but many to gain if it does. My FIL for reminding me that only in sales you can achieve your dreams when you work hard, his tips on how to break through the barrier that was holding me back - my pride. How they always remind me to direct my concerns on money (bad months) to things greater than cash, because they know money is not a drawing factor for me.

A bigger thanks to Ern's mummy who is such a big Mary Kay fan even before she used the product but through her admiration of her a business women. Sharing with me how she read her autobiography and got inspire to achieve her "million dollar table". and her quote "if u believe the product, the battle is 50% won, the rest is just pure determination" (to shann: see, I remembered!!)

I so love my new career as a beauty trainer, image consultant, future sales director, motivation talker and most of all a role model for V to emulate.
