growing up and plans..

V is turning 4 years old.. how fast is that?

Its amazing what a pregnancy does to perception.. I woke up one day and saw that V is all grown up.

During pregnancy I stopped carry her and that day found that I now longer can lift her hahaha. Manz... She just exploded in weight and height! LIFE.... we just have to move forward isn't it?

Anyways she has been asking for new toys "Mummy can you buy this or not? you know ha I'm sick of  my toys at home" I want a Unicorn, Barbie makeup can tie hair one, 1 puppy that talks." So was after no thanks to Mr Toys r us who send this super duper big catalog to the house. It got her excited  and started choosing her toys for xmas. Trev brought her to buy a pony, and came back 2! Retarded husband who succumbed into her tricks, he came back happy too! Both smiling and bragging how special that pony was! like I freaking care? zzz anyways... so she started bugging for the puppy 3 days later, after the fiasco. nagging at me to bring her to the shops.. I gave up and put Fluffy on a leash and told her "Na, puppy that walks"
I finally found something useful for this blardy noisy dog whom I think is a Pomeranian trapped in a maltese body

This thing about children growing up.. their attention span is so short it is not funny. V started on Happy train for 3 terms coz we stopped her from her enrichment school for about 1 year. Initially it all great with her listening and going home to do her worksheets, she liked it mainly because it is accompanied program. Me and Trev needed to do something with her before the 2nd one came and this suited us well... She excelled, I got her worksheets to trace, dots to dots, tangram, maze... everyday she would sit down and do her work. Until she finished everything I mean all the books I bought! and then bam.. boredom. Since then I decided no more such worksheets and its off to play... I mean if you read children right, there is a right time to do things and if she can finish a thick maze book 38 pages :( in a day and not sleep coz of it.  At about the same time , she was obsessed with colouring and just did colouring daily. No tv, no play just pure colouring.. Most parents will be proud but to me? This to be is a sign of trouble and I don't think its something I want to brag about.

So she is off all these stuffs and its playground daily *try to. I have been sourcing her year 4 stuffs to do, its swimming and music. She hasn't decided on her instrument  and nope I am not choosing for her.. all I do every now and then is to "practice" types of instrument and the sounds they make and actions. That day she told me she wants to play the harp! I was like for heavens sake, so heavy! Trev was hilarious when he "you know that time we went to Baby SSO? daddy pointed to you the harp? you saw the whole session, the harpist only played  ONE NOTE! " Please spare Daddy from the misery and not waste time on something so unproductive" I seriously doubt V understood what he meant but she gave up the idea hahhahaha!!!

Something V is obsessed now is baking, she watch youtube videos of baking. ALOT of them, in fact she was the one who introduced me the rainbow cake just before it became a hit in Facebook. So I was really happy when our friend Marie decided to do a baking workshop for the kiddos. I sux in baking ... hate the slimly things I have to wash after  and also psychologically I feel fat when baking. It takes out the luxury of enjoying that cake coz you see that amount of butter/sugar that goes inside.
very serious baker
up to mischief this 2
the kids had a blast eating it.. and it was before LUNCH!!

This reminds me of her dec workshop! She is going to a fellow mummy blogger house for a drop off 1.5 hours session on 4 fridays! Yea, mummy who organize it is SAHM *respect ... This is why I always believe even if you chose to SAHM, you must make anything an opportunity! Of course I have to support mummy... (traits of an entrepreneur)  this time  for me to a fellow mummypreneur.

Now to get that private swimming coach... and we are set for something next year.
