My Little Pony Party Surprise 'Live' on Stage at City Square Mall
We started the day at the girl's school Family day where I somehow by a sudden spur of some enthusiasm decided that we will do a tiny stall to sell My Little Pony badges. Wow, how exciting! not. I do get regrets sometimes hahhaha.
Badges my cousin wanted to give away. She designed them herself! |
Step 1 to succes: Wear it, show it, flaunt it! |
Step 2: Jio your besties, get your mother to text all her mummies group chat, get support from familar faces . |
Step 3: Don't gender discriminate. Boys like My Little Pony also! |
Step 4: Keep the crowd. They bring more sales. Make use of siblings of friends and friends of siblings. Widen THAT circle |
Step 5: Leave the stall and have fun with the classmates. Daddy will handle it. |
Yea that big! cutness overload!! hehehe |
Yes this is for me! |
small one is not blogger friendly .. yet |
Most of the carrots ended up errrr |
If your are damn desperate for a pony shot! hahaha |
March Monster Mash
Just came back from Gardens By the Bay! We were kindly invited by Angie of lifestinymiracles.com to attend a Movie Screening : Where the Wild Things are at the Supertree Grove.
The girls got all excited to be attending a media event, predominately V, K decided not to nap (crap), the husband decided to, well have a night of solitude *wins hands down. So I was to fend going by myself absolutely forgetting how tiring it can be with 2 of them and that I do not have extra pair of hands for whiny, tired children especially 2 that NAGS at 10pm. We sort of got lost, you see I MUST REMEMBER to park correctly and that the 1st carpark is to the Super Grove! You would not believe we got lost getting out of the Super Grove. *note no extra hands and got to carry big yellow car and goodie bags and my handbag and small tired 2 year old and naggy 6 year old. Okie breathe and rant is over.
Man, the event was awesome! I loved it to bits. If they do run this again , please please do experience it for yourself. So from now Friday 13th March till Sunday 22 March, do pay Gardens By the Bay a Visit! The program outline is listed in their website and I have no idea how to create a stylo mylo table to key everything in.

Do be early to get a nice cosy spot |
The movie started at about 8pm, it got them quiet for 20 mins then the grumbling about the sound so loud, the grass so prickly, so hungry, why so dark. Yeah, sounds familar huh. Oh and we had to go for toilet break. I managed to get a hot pizza to keep them quiet for another 30 mins then the small one repeatedly repeated to me "Go home mummy, I want to go home" for at least 50 times. I have not shared much about her the last 2 years so as not to jinx the good behavious but I have a persistent NAGGER in this one. *raises my hands up to heaven

Back on Blogger Again
Gosh I miss blogging! I took a hiatus from blogging in 2014. There was a certain confusion of where my blog should steer, I was crawling out of my shell as an insecure mummy to be someone who knew exactly where she is going. My usual rants sort of died down from being an immature to a sort of "experienced" mother of 2. I started doing reviews and sharing about what was new in the market and it was a interesting learning curve. The game plan was no longer the same and I changed the direction of being Victoria-eden.blogspot to Flomummy.com as it was not apt to write under my 1st born anymore. What started as the journal of pregnancy till year 1 sort of managed a life span (thank you readers!) and soon we are arriving into year 7!
Migrating to wordpress made me felt like I have moved to a foreign land and it became hostile to staying there. Adjusting to it took too much effort and in 2015 I relook at that platform once again. I was this close to giving wordpress a 2nd chance with a new blog facelift but in the end everything steered towards DIY. It took some adjusting and I sniffed around the blogs I "grew" up in, Facebook-ed a few old OLD blogging kakis (Note CheekieMonkies thanks love!) whose blogs resonate with me and here I am back at Blogger!
My supportive bloggers friends have been giving me loads of advice lifestinymiracles.com, mamawearpapashirt.com, accidental-mom-blogger.blogspot.sg, dominiquegoh.com, and many few others who listened and laughed together with me on my process to be back here! Thank you all love.
So presenting a blogger template I bought on Etsy for USD $25! If you haven't gone into there yet? Omg its a shopping haven in there and it gets crazy when everything looks nice (well, nicer than your own, you know!) I narrowed to 2 and eventually "Leighton" template was the winner. Honestly, it was the other one with pastel rainbow but the HUSBAND chose this. So just to let you know, the blogger spouse gets to have ONE say since he is the one who has to lug and follow to events (which in our relationship takes ALOT *just saying)

Simple |
This blog will still be what I love to write about especially my thoughts, the things I do daily and of course the time I spend with my children. It was a great break from events in 2014 and in these 4 days, I packed 4 events before a biz trip. So backlogs and labelling my blog *again!! will be the mission or maybe I won't bother much about the labeling la. *lazy bones. Following the 20/80 pareto rule, do the 20% will be just as efficient.
We just did 2 events and I know V loves being back blogging coz she couldn't stop hugging me today. (Guess I was not the only one who miss this aspect of our lives) It has become a part of us, to share, to inspire, to be connected.

Back on blogger
I thought long and hard. I still love my blogger platform and decided to continue blogging here. It will take a while before i transport the other posts over but nevertheless blogging carries on. I enjoy writing on my thoughts and not so much advertising on it. If you have been reading me long enough you would have seen the downward trend of the number of posts. The lastest saga in the blogsphere did express my thoughts clearly about how marketers can be demanding about how "their" post should steer towards. I have a stubborn streak and this doesn't work very well with me when the directions are not in line with mine. So yes, I have become selective and selective is always a plus point when it comes to a vocal blogger like me. In the end I stopped reviewing everything on my plate coz the mind got stuck coz one must not play with passion.... Many people have suggested to be impartial about it but I don't do impartial. **opps I love and hate clearly
As I grow mature, hate is a word I don't use much. The law of attaction should and must never be practiced using negativity but I am still a learning human. Perfection is a way of life with many challenges and questions along the way. I have started my dream dairy which I write my thoughts twice a day and man it was fun, interesting and became drab and walau "I want to sleep and still must reflect " "Wake up want to poo and still must think so much" hahhaha
It is a great tool to the start of mediation as this is a important factor to know what you are doing and why you are doing. Many times in life we grumble about the negativity and lose direction. It has come to my senses when I read back on those days where the fire is burning so high and on those days when there are absolutely none!!! You can read my dream dairy in the previous post.
**blog written at The Disgruntled Chef. School has started and I'm doing my rounds in Dempsey once again
