Be dazzled

Ear Piercing: V had it way later after 1 year old and it was pretty traumatic for her coz she was conscious of it and was touching it often.

We decided to give Princess Kate some blings on her 6th Month. Dropped by B*Dazzled in Wisma, I must say they are one of the professional ones around. I did mine much older like primary school in good old goldsmith shop, come to think about it... I wonder if they still have this services?

The process of ear piercing

1. Distracting the baby away from what they are going to do
2. Marking a nice spot, cleaning it with alcohol
3. 1,2,3 clip! Tandem piercing
4.  Upset Baby Kate
It really was not this dramatic, its like a vaccine jab kinda of scream. She was nice and merry in less than 1 minute. But u know my girls has a little over the top drama-ness in the them .. its called the Princess Syndrome.

Back to topic, I chose this outlet because the one near my place has closed down. We have been dropping by here whenever V's earrings backing gets misaligned and the only one who can gets it fix quick enough (before V gets squeamish) are the staff working here. I do like their way of tandem piercing, swift and effortless. They do practise a high standard of hygiene before piercing with cleaning the ear lobes and spraying with a cool solution to minimise pain. The earrings are in a disposable cartridge which is and should be this way issn't it? After piercing, you do get to bring home 2 bottles of solution for cleaning to prevent infection.

They have a array of earrings to chose from, from real diamonds to zirconia and birth stones. The stones are all set in White Gold or Yellow Gold. This round we chose a medium sized white zirconia earrings for Baby Kate at $180++. With V, we chose the small one but by 2.5 years old it got a little tiny and started to get embedded in the ear lobes some times. We had to change it to pink zirconia earrings which was additional costs. So we got a bit smarter this round by going bigger. But it means MORE bling for a pretty face.

I told Ry she can get hers done when she's six. She asked "WHY?!! Why not now?" So i told her i got mine done when I was 12 (yes at the goldsmith!), so you want it done when you're 6 or 12? She said 6 is okay. ahahaha

I must remember to bring them to this place (if still around).
