World Class ZOO (Day 3)

eh... long post... story telling time...

Year 2009, 3 October...

We decided to go to the zoo today... it had been donkey years since our last visit. Never a zoo person or should I say not a zoo, safari, sentosa, birdpark etc person... but for the sake of the small one, why not right and what better way to use my camera...

Will work for milk! moo moo...

So funny.. ah meng cafe... but hor the laska RAwks!! $5.90 after the $1 discount... yumz okie

DD T paying for tickets in.. $18 per pax, we didn't get the one with tram rides though... we decided we should walk the zoo, burn some calories...

the minute you step into the zoo, they will pull you here to take photos... very touristy. Must do thumbs up, peace sign, group hug... then b4 u leave u view and see if u wanna buy lar..

BUT, what is cool is that they help you take using your own camera too... and damn gd skills too...so we didn't need to buy any cause the photos from my camera were gd enough.. love the fact that the staff were so zealous without being over the top. Great service! Its not like on other countries where the take the "photos" then force you to buy as you like only have that photo, then like no choice right? This one they were so willing to use our camera to help us take a family photo... nice.

The map of the zoo in 2009.. long walk around.. we spent about 5-6 hrs there.. it was sun, rain, sun , rain... but no complains as the rain cooled down the place tremendously.. but singapore is damn humid... really not suitable for a baby... but BB [V] didn't care as she had SO MANY PEOPLE TO SEE... nope she didn't care much for the animals.. the people there were her animals.. LOL

We went this way 1st.. no particular reason.. oh! I remembered now coz I wanna see white tiger.. I mean the tiger ate up a man... have to be awesome right!

I think my photos taking skills are not bad lar hor... quite pro like that..keke

Kangaroos... am so bringing her to the zoo is Sydney... Mainly for the koala bears k... Maybe like soon extinct? must chop chop

Kid.. baby goat... damn bloody smelly u know the poo poo... but damn cute lor, stick the face out...

Then I saw Ah meng... then DD T say Ah meng died.. OMG! I like totally forgot lor....To think I was so looking forward in taking pictures with her... sad...

We were in the cafe waiting for the rain to stop and this zookeeper came to take her away for goodness know what reason? So he walked her to this buggy and as he was about to drive off, the buggy jerked.... and it panicked and grabbed his arm! LOL, the face was classic.... me and the caucasian guy there were laughing away.. there was only the 2 of us there as we wanted to take a closer picture... yep in the rain...

Feeding time for ah meng grandkids! so small leh they... $5 per person to take group photos with them... DD T say dun wan... no kick... but why are they so small?? *sigh*

Then we found Ah Meng... The map showed a "Ah Meng memorial" so we made a point to go there to show BB[V]... but damn sad right? only 1 statue , we were hoping for some big stylo hut with her story and blah blah, blah... no manz, it didn't even state when she buggered...

So BB[V] finally got her photo... *pat pat old mama*..

got like many photos to go through... part 2 tml... I took 300 photos leh... *sigh*
