Our Sunday

Had lunch with my old collegues and their daughter...

It was great as it's been a while since we caught up with each other and even better this round as we brought our kids out for them to play with each other. Hayley is about 6 years old, attends Lorna Whistion Kindergarten talking to her was real pleasant as she speaks so well and presents herself real confidently. There was this priceless moment when the server came to give them some toys and she bluntly asked "Are these from China?" You should have seen the parents, they were hiding their heads under their table, while me n DD T was guffawing away for it was so
A-oh-funny!! The server looked at the tiny cars that she was carrying with the biggest question mark hovering over her head and left quietly while DD T was left with the task to help Hayley check the make out. I swear it was a priceless moment when DD T said that it was made in China, she jumped off her seat and chased after the server and shouted "my parents said no to China made toys!" and it was a full restaurant, her voice very the loud.... Kekekkee

As I was giggling over Hays loud exclamation, I knew we were on the way for such behaviour when V turns older o.O The parents finally stopped hiding and explained her behaviour as they have been more particular about her selection of toys ever since the paint toxic scare in toys.

While our lunch date dragged till tea, it was real fun catching up and even better when we as parents think so alike in the upbringing of our children.
